How it works

  1. 1

    Give a topic

Describe what the video should explain. Add your own facts and figures if you have them.

  2. 2

    Set format, length and look

Pick horizontal, vertical or square, a length from 15 seconds to 10 minutes, a colour palette or your brand colours, a female or male voice or none, and the music.

  3. 3

    Answer a few questions

BINAI asks a handful of questions about the topic and what to say about it, so the script fits your audience.

  4. 4

    Get an editable video

The script is written and fact-checked, the scenes are animated and the video is rendered. Every element can still be moved and recoloured.

What it does

Numbers and dates double-checked

A second AI reads every line for figures, dates, names and quotes. Wrong claims are corrected; claims it cannot confirm are rewritten in general terms.

Real maps and charts

Places light up on a map, routes draw themselves, numbers become charts and steps become icons joined by arrows.

Your brand colours, kept readable

Pick one of eight ready-made palettes or enter your own colours. If text would not read on your background, only the text colour is adjusted.

Horizontal, vertical or square

16:9 for YouTube and websites, 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, or 1:1 for feeds. The layout is planned for the shape you choose, not cropped from another.

Voice and music included

A narrator reads the script with every word timed to the animation, and music plays underneath: calm, upbeat, inspiring, cinematic or none.

Picks up where it stopped

Each step is saved as soon as it is done, so if a long build is interrupted it starts again from the last finished step, not from scratch.

What is an AI animated explainer video maker?

An AI animated explainer video maker turns a topic into a narrated video made of moving graphics instead of filmed footage: charts that build, maps that zoom to a place, icons joined by arrows, numbers that count up, and photos placed in frame. In BINAI this is the Animated video tool. You give it a subject, BINAI writes the script and animates it, and the result is a project you can still edit scene by scene, not a locked file.

Because everything on screen is drawn graphics, not AI-generated footage of people, it avoids the uncanny look of synthetic video and works well for topics that are really about information: how something works, where something happened, how a number changed.

How does BINAI build the video?

  1. Your choices first. The screen asks the things only you know: the shape it will be posted in, how long it runs, the colours, whether a voice reads it and whether music plays under it.
  2. Questions about the topic. An AI then asks a few questions about what to say and who it is for. You can add your own facts and figures here.
  3. Script and fact check. The script is planned as chapters, then written. A second AI reads every line and lists each factual claim: numbers, dates, names, records, causes and quotes. A claim it knows is false is corrected. A precise figure it cannot place is rewritten in general terms rather than left in. Facts you gave are always kept.
  4. Direction. A director AI decides what each line looks like. Every scene has one main visual, such as a map, a chart, a diagram or a number, so the viewer always knows where to look. Places named in the script light up on the map, routes draw, and the same map carries over from scene to scene instead of jumping around.
  5. Voice, music and render. The narration is spoken, each word is timed so the animation lands on it, music is added, and the video renders automatically when the build is finished.

Every step is saved as soon as it is done. If something interrupts a long build, it resumes from the last finished step.

What formats, lengths and styles can I choose?

  • Format: horizontal 16:9, vertical 9:16 or square 1:1. Vertical and square are laid out for their own shape: fewer, shorter labels, and a vertical frame shows the slice of a map that matters instead of a whole continent squeezed in.
  • Length: 15 seconds to 10 minutes. Quick picks are 30 seconds, 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 minutes.
  • Colours: eight ready-made palettes (Night, Paper, Forest, Sunset, Ocean, Mono, Candy, Tech) or your own five brand colours. Text that would not be readable on your background is switched to near-white or near-black, and the screen tells you.
  • Voice: female, male or no voice.
  • Music: calm, upbeat, inspiring, cinematic or none. For a soundtrack of your own, BINAI's music tool writes songs split into separate tracks.

Which plan do I need?

Animated video is on every paid plan. Your plan sets the longest video you can build: 1 minute on Solo, 3 minutes on Pro, and 10 minutes on Business and Studio. A 1-minute video uses about 106 credits from your monthly credits, and each extra minute adds to that. Free accounts can look around but cannot generate, because every video calls paid AI models. On Solo, downloads carry a small "made with binai.it" mark; from Pro they do not. Details are in pricing.

Can I edit the video after it is made?

Yes. The video opens in the editor with a scene map. Charts, maps, icons and type stay separate elements you can move and recolour, so a wrong label or a colour that clashes is a quick fix, not a rebuild. To cut a long explainer into short pieces for social, upload the finished file to Clip a link.

What should I watch out for?

  • Check the facts yourself. The fact check removes or corrects claims it cannot stand behind, but it is a second reader, not a guarantee. On anything legal, medical or financial, review the script before you publish.
  • Original beats mass-produced. YouTube pays AI-assisted channels that add real value and can refuse ones that publish repetitive templated videos. Read how YouTube treats AI channels and our guide to faceless YouTube with AI.
  • Disclose when it applies. Platforms ask for a label on realistic synthetic content. Animated graphics rarely fall under that, but see when to disclose AI content.
  • Longer takes longer. A 10-minute video involves many more scenes, voice lines and checks than a 1-minute one, so expect a longer build.

Who it is for

Faceless YouTube channels

Publish explainers on history, geography, money or science without filming yourself.

Small businesses

Explain how your service works, why your prices are what they are, or how to use your product in a short animated video.

Marketers and educators

Turn a report, a market trend or a lesson into a clear video with charts and maps instead of slides.

Newsletter and blog writers

Turn an article into a vertical explainer that brings social followers back to the full piece.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make an animated explainer video with AI?

In BINAI, choose Animated video and describe the topic. Pick the format, length, colours, voice and music, then answer a few questions about what to say. BINAI writes the script, fact-checks it, animates each scene with charts, maps, icons and photos, adds the narration and music and renders the video. You can then edit any scene.

How long can an AI animated video be in BINAI?

An animated video can run from 15 seconds to 10 minutes. One-tap lengths are 30 seconds and 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 minutes, or you can type any length in between. Your plan sets the ceiling: 1 minute on Solo, 3 minutes on Pro, and the full 10 minutes on Business and Studio.

Does the AI check the facts in the script?

Yes. After the script is written, a second AI lists every factual claim, such as numbers, dates, names, records and quotes. Claims it knows are false are corrected, and precise claims it cannot confirm are rewritten in general terms. Facts you supply yourself are always kept. It lowers the risk of errors but does not replace your own review.

Can I use my brand colours?

Yes. Choose from eight ready-made palettes, such as Night, Paper, Forest or Tech, or set your own background, text, main and accent colours. If your text colour would not be readable on your background, BINAI switches only the text to near-white or near-black and tells you, so the rest of your brand colours stay as chosen.

How much does an AI explainer video cost in BINAI?

Animated videos run on the monthly credits included in every paid plan. A 1-minute animated video uses about 106 credits, and longer videos use more for each extra minute. Free accounts cannot generate videos, because every video uses paid AI models. See the pricing section for the credits in each plan.

Can I monetize AI explainer videos on YouTube?

Yes, if the video adds real value. YouTube monetizes AI-assisted videos that are original and informative, and can refuse channels that publish repetitive, mass-produced content. A researched script, your own angle and accurate facts matter more than the tool. YouTube also asks you to disclose realistic altered or synthetic content.
