Cost
Manual edits use no credits; AI tools are quoted on their buttons, from 1 credit for a cut-out or upscale

How it works

  1. 1

    Open a project

Every clip, video and image BINAI makes, and every video you enhance, opens in the same editor.

  2. 2

    Change it by hand

Select a layer to move, resize, restyle, animate or delete it. Trim and arrange on the timeline, and reorder scenes on the scene map.

  3. 3

    Or ask in words

Type an instruction such as make the title bigger or put the harbour scene last. BINAI carries it out with the same tools your own taps use.

  4. 4

    Check and download

Run the content check, then download the whole video, a version without captions or the audio alone.

What it does

Layers you can actually edit

Text, images, shapes, cards, captions and maps are separate layers with their own position, style, effects, masks and keyframes.

A timeline and a scene map

Trim and time layers, voice and music on the timeline. On the scene map you move, swap, connect or park scenes, or add one from a sentence.

AI tools on any element

Cut out a subject, upscale a picture, edit an image with an instruction, find a photo on the web or generate a new one, right on the layer.

Redo one scene, not the whole video

Change one scene's prompt and only that scene is made again. Scenes you did not touch are kept as they are.

Ask in words

Describe the change you want. The AI acts, looks at the result and acts again, using the same operations as the buttons.

One undo for you and the AI

Every change, yours or the AI's, is recorded in one history, so undo steps back exactly one action whoever made it.

What makes BINAI an online video editor with AI, not just a generator?

Most AI tools hand you a finished file. If one word in the title is wrong or one shot looks off, the only option is to generate the whole thing again and hope the rest comes out the same. BINAI keeps everything it makes as a project, and the editor is where that project lives.

A video in BINAI is a set of scenes, and each scene is a stack of layers: text, pictures, shapes, cards, captions, maps, the voice and the music. Every one of those can be selected and changed on its own, by hand or by asking in words. The same editor works for images, clips cut from a link, animated videos, product videos and any video you bring to Enhance a video.

What can I change by hand?

Select a layer and you can:

  • move, resize, bring it forward or send it back, duplicate or delete it;
  • change the text, the font, the weight, the spacing and the case;
  • restyle it with a palette, shadows and outlines, or effects such as blur, grain, vignette, black and white or a warm look;
  • add a mask, keyframes or a fade in and fade out;
  • replace the picture, or trim when it appears and disappears.

On the timeline you place layers in time, zoom in to the second, and work with the voice track, a music bed and sound effects. Captions have their own panel for style, look, timing and emoji. For animated videos there is a map editor for cities, markers, routes and highlighted regions.

The scene map shows the whole video as connected scenes. You can move a scene, swap two over, rewire which follows which, park one out of the video without losing it, or add a new one from a sentence. Continue starts the next scene from the last frame of the one before, so the shot carries on.

How do AI edits in words work?

Type an instruction such as "make the title bigger", "put the harbour scene last" or "add a scene after the hook where she walks out". The AI does not rewrite your project in one go. It uses the same operations as the buttons, one at a time: it acts, reads the result and acts again, until the request is done.

Because it goes through the same path as your own taps, every AI edit is recorded in the same history. Undo steps back exactly one action, whether you made it or the AI did. Instructions in words run on a paid AI model, so they need one of the paid plans.

Which AI tools work on a single element?

Each image layer has its own AI tools, priced on the button before you press it:

  • Cut out subject: removes the background. 1 credit.
  • Upscale: makes the picture sharper and larger. 1 credit.
  • Edit image: changes the picture from a written instruction. 6 credits.
  • Find image: looks for a photo on the web for that spot. 1 credit.
  • Generate: makes a new picture for the layer, priced like any HD image.

The result lands back on the same layer as an ordinary, undoable change.

Can I redo one scene without touching the rest?

Yes, and it is one of the main reasons to edit rather than regenerate. BINAI remembers exactly what each scene was made from: its prompt, its picture, its model and its length. When you change one scene and produce again, only that scene is made again. Scenes you did not touch are reused as they are, and if a single clip failed, a retry pays only for that clip.

Format, downloads and sharing

Changing the format reframes the whole project. Every layer's position is stored as a share of the frame, so a horizontal video can become vertical for Reels, Shorts or TikTok without losing your edits. Downloads come as the full video, a version without captions, or the audio alone, and you can download scene by scene. On Free and Solo, downloads carry a small "made with binai.it" mark; Pro, Business and Studio have none (see plans).

You can invite someone to a project by email and leave comments on it.

Honest limits

  • Editing by hand is open to every account. Anything that calls a paid AI model, including instructions in words and the per-element tools, needs a paid plan.
  • The AI follows instructions that the editor's tools can express. A request no tool can carry out will not be invented.
  • Editing does not tell you whether a post is safe to publish. Run the content check before you post.

Why editing matters for posting often

Posting regularly is easier when a small change does not mean starting again. The guide on AI content for small businesses and the one on turning long videos into shorts both lean on the same idea: make once, then adjust each version for where it is going.

Who it is for

Small business owners

Fix a price, swap a product photo or change the call to action in a finished video without starting over.

Marketers

Make the title bigger, change the brand colours or reframe a horizontal video as vertical for Reels, keeping every edit.

Creators

Restyle captions, retime an insert in a clip, or redo the one scene that did not come out right.

Teams

Invite a collaborator to a project by email and leave comments, with every change kept in the same undo history.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an online video editor with AI that edits from text instructions?

Yes. In BINAI's editor you can type what you want changed, such as make the title bigger, swap the second and third scenes or add a scene after the hook. The AI carries it out with the same operations as the buttons, and the change goes into the normal undo history. Text instructions need a paid plan.

Can I edit a video BINAI made, or is it a finished file?

Everything BINAI makes stays editable. Text, pictures, captions, maps, voice and music are separate layers, so you can move, restyle or replace any of them, change one scene, or reorder scenes, instead of getting a flat file you can only accept or remake from scratch.

How do I change just one scene without remaking the whole video?

Change that scene, for example its prompt or its picture, and produce again. BINAI tracks exactly what each scene was made from, so only the scene you changed is made again and everything else is kept. If one clip failed, a retry pays only for that clip, not the whole video.

Can I remove the background from an image or upscale it inside the editor?

Yes. Select an image layer and choose Cut out subject to remove the background, or Upscale to make it sharper. Both cost 1 credit, and the price of each AI tool is shown on its button. Edit image changes a picture from a written instruction for 6 credits.

Can I turn a horizontal video into a vertical one?

Yes. Change the format in the project and the whole video is reframed. Every layer's position is stored as a share of the frame, so your edits survive the change instead of breaking. You can then nudge any element that needs a different spot in the new shape.

Can I download a video without captions, or only the audio?

Yes. Downloads come as the full video, a version without captions or the audio alone. On the Free and Solo plans downloads carry a small made with binai.it mark; from Pro up there is no watermark. You can also download scene by scene.

Is the BINAI editor free?

Any account can open projects and edit them by hand. Anything that calls a paid AI model, such as instructions in words, cut-outs, upscales or new pictures, needs one of the paid plans, starting with Solo. See the pricing section for what each plan includes.
